Upgrade CBSubs 1.03 to GPL 3.0

Hi. I need to upgrade our ski club's website next month. We are currently running Joomla 1.5.20, CB 1.2.3, CBSubs 1.03 as well as other components (I know, it's overdue.) Before I purchase CBSubs GPL 3.0, I have a few questions.

- Is there any documentation to guide me through the upgrade - I want to make sure that the configuration is preserved to the greatest extent possible.

- Which version of Joomla do you recommend? The latest in the 3.x stream?

You should first upgrade to CB 1.9.1 and then to CBSubs GPL 3.0.

Then you would need to find a migration tool to handle the Joomla migration.

In the process you need to make sure your template and extensions are compatible with the Joomla version you will be migrating to.

Both CB 1.9.1 and CBSubs GPL 3.0 are compatible with all Joomla versions.

You might want to get professional assistance for the Joomla migration as it is not a simple task.

If possible (extensions compatible) I would go with latest Joomla 3.x series.
