I read that CBSubs can handle promotional coupons.

I'm interested in offering my CB users promotional coupons for free, so I'm wondering if CBSubs is suitable for such purpose.

I read on the forum about cases in which someone buys coupon/gifts.

I'm just interested in offering people some free promotional coupon that they can print and use in a some specific shops by going there phisically (not on online purchase). Can the be customized with the user name?

Can CBSubs do such thing?

The CBSubs Promotions functionality is meant to handle discounts offered for items sold by CBSubs.

I do not think it is what yu want/need based on your description.

Cannot really help with current understanding of your use case.

How are these coupons generated?
A discount coupon is offered by the establishment actually selling the goods.
