Hi CB Support:

We plan on using CBSubs with the HWDMediaShare plugin for CB. My question is if we set up a membership plan for FREE members we want them to only be able to upload (1) video vs. a paid membership plan which we want them to be able to upload unlimited videos. Can we do this with CBSubs, if so please provide a brief explanation of the process or tutorial link thank you.

Best,
cbnaynay

Brief answer is: CBSubs cannot add features to extensions.

So if your HWDMediaShare extension allows you to configure 2 sets of users, one set that has 1 upload allowed and the other set that allows unlimited uploads, then CBSubs could be used to places users in one of these 2 groups (using an SQL action if needed).

Hi Nick: Here's HWDMediaShares response:

Yes. HWDMediaShare supports the Joomla ACL, and you can define different upload limits for each different user group, as shown here:

Can you please provide the how to have CBSubs place users into one of these 2 groups using an SQL action thank you.

Great!

No need of SQL action then as CBSubs lets you add/remove users to/from extra Joomla ACL groups when subscriptions starts/ends.
