Hi,

I'm already using community builder, where i'm managing the users database of a small french non-profit organisation (150 people).
Users are now subscribing to the NPO annualy, paying small amount of cash or even sending bank cheques.

When they have paid, I just change their joomla group in CB to a custom group I've created, and check a box, which is in custom tab, saying they have paid their subscription for 2016 for exemple.
Then, I send them by post or email a receipt from their subscription.

I would like to digitalize that, making them renew their subscription by paypal, and automatizing all the other steps.

Do you think that CBsubs is the good tool for that ? I fear that it is too complicated (and costly) for a simple usage like this. Do you know how much time it will take to deploy it ? Do I need others plugins ?

Best regards,

Paul

Yes, CBSubs can automate all of that. The usergroup assignment can be done under the Access tab of your plan. The checking of the checkbox field can be done with CBSubs Fields integration on subscription activate (under Integrations > Fields tab of your plan). PayPal Standard recurring and single payment purchases is built into CBSubs so that won't be an issue either.

Additionally if you still want to accept cash/check you can do so using the Offline payment gateway and the only manual step would be confirming their payment by paying the basket when the payment comes in.

Seams like a relatively simple setup. I recommend reading through the CBSubs Manual and taking a look at CBSubs in our demo site as well.
