registration workflow was created by pastoweb
Hi, CB looks great, I'm testing the free version and reading the documentation of the commercial plugins to see how to configure it for my purposes but...it's a lot of stuff guys! :)

While reading docs and viewing tutorials, I'll try to ask a couple of question here:

1) is it possible to have different registration forms for different membership types? IE a personal member shoud fill only certain fields, a company should fill others?
2) is it possible to set different workflows for different members types? IE, a standard member should be automatically approved, while a premium needs approval?

Thanks for answering!

Yes, using CB Conditional you can condition fields/tabs to show/hide based off the value of another field. Membership Type in this case should just be a Select field where they select their type. There is no functionality for actual entirely separate registration forms.

2) is it possible to set different workflows for different members types? IE, a standard member should be automatically approved, while a premium needs approval?

This maybe possible using CB Auto Actions to adjust their approval or basically automatically approve them. Easier approach maybe to just use CBSubs for both your different profile types and for allowing standard members to bypass approval (I assume premium is paid, which CBSubs can also cover).

Thanks, I will probably go for CBsubs
I'm gonna add several users, is there a way to change the registration date, or to use another date field to dispay the "member since" info?

Can only be changed by directly editing within _users table.

or to use another date field to dispay the "member since" info?

I suppose you could have a datetime field to override the member since date then use the layout parameters to substitute it in if it exists. Example as follows.

[cb:if cb_registrationdate!="0000-00-00 00:00:00"][cb:userfield field="cb_registrationdate" /][cb:else][value][/cb:else][/cb:if]

You could then use that as the profile value layout for the member since field and if cb_registrationdate has a value it'll display otherwise displays normally.
