Model-agency website usage was created by ronsta
Hi,

I am considering using CBSubs for a talent agency website. This was one of the examples given on the info page of CBSubs so i have even more confidence!!

The info page further goes on to say "models cannot see other model pictures but agencies can see all model pictures"

Question 1. Can it be set up so that
a) general public can view very limited profile of talent (I have been able to do this in standard CB)
b) agencies can view longer profile of all models including pics
c) model can see other model profiles (just like agency member) and of course, they see their own full profile.

Question 2.
Can you print, print to PDF or email user profiles? So to continue with the agency analogy, can an agency member print off the profile of a model they like, or email it to someone else? Going a step further, if an agency does a search of the talent database (for example all blonde models), could they save/print/email the result of that search?

Question 3.
I see there is an email plugin to send emails based on certain subscription events. However, is it possible to send an email to all members of a group arbitrarily (like a newsletter)?

Thank you.

PS I have been testing out the "standard" CB and it's a great tool! Well done to the developers.

Thanks.

If I understand right... :

1) yes

2) there was a third-party CB plugin to do print and email, but not sure latest status

3) not in CBSubs, but if you use docman and docman integration, such a feature exists in docman backend.

Thank you for the reply.

1. That's great!

2. Any info on where that plugin can be found?

3. Is docman integration easy to implement?

Thanks again.

2) search JED

3) included in CBSubs and easy - very detailed description for both DOCman or Remository integration.

I've had a pretty good look in JED and not found anything that relates to printing CB profiles.

Any further info on where I could find this elusive plugin?

I didn't find anything either.

If you want to print one profile at a time, perhaps you can use the CB Content module to format the data you need.

If you want information from multiple profiles you might be able to use CB User Lists.
