I have a non-profit website that depends on donor contributions, and I would like to assign something similar to your CB Subs user types to their profiles and have it displayed on their forum posts. I can't seem to find anything current to do this with CB, and I don't need (and can't afford) all the other functionality of the CB Subs just to get this.
It would be nifty if there were something that would assign a certain banner based on contributions, similar to CB Subs, but without any restricted content requirements. Anything out there like this?
Using complex IF statements in a substitution would allow you to conditional display content based off existing content. For isntance if you've Field A which stores what subscription a user has (123) you could use an IF statement to check that Field A = 123 and if it does then display XYZ image (raw HTML). This is of course much easier to do with CBSubs as CBSubs provides a subscriptions image fieldtype. More on substitutions at the below link.
