I re-enabled the default joomla login module after this problem happening, it is normally disabled.
I had this problem when I originally installed CB on a fresh J1.6 install and it went away "on its own?" a day later. The problem is back. The time spent between it working and not working again was while simply editing articles, no additional extensions were installed.
