Hi,

I have created the menu item using the cb profile edit type,It's not working properly when enabling the sef in global configuration.URL generatiing like this index.php/component/comprofiler/userprofile

What are the exact SEF parameters you've configured within Joomla. Please also provide which platform (1.5/1.6). URL seams correct assuming htaccess is not used for URL rewriting.

Hi,
I did below changes to enable the sef in joomla
1)I am using the joomla1.5
2)I have enable the sef in global configuration of joomla
3)Change the htaccess.txt to htaccess alone.

Am needing specifically what you configured under "SEO Settings" in Global Configuration, please. All tests are showing SEO working fine. I recommend the below configuration.

Search Engine Friendly URLs: YES
Use Apache mod_rewrite: YES
Add suffix to URLs: NO

Additionally htaccess.txt must be renamed to .htaccess within your FTP manager (FileZilla, etc..).
