I just noticed that when I write in either a text field or a text editor area a dollar sign it shows it as "\$".
How do I fix it?
I did turn magic_quotes_gpc = Off in my PHP ini and I'm directing all sub-directories on my server to use that one file that is on my public_html.
Please provide what Joomla and CB version you're using. Believe this was an issue in the past that'd we've already addressed with CB 1.4.

When switching magic_quotes off through PHP.ini please ensure you're placed a copy in Joomla root and root/administrator for it to apply to front and backend. Once done please confirm if resolved. Don't see a reason why it should add slashes to a dollar sign however, this issue has only ever been present (now fixed) when using " or ' in the content.
