Login/Register pop-up box

I am setting up a new website with the Community Builder component and I am very enthusiastic about the endless possibilities.
However, I am still struggling with two different issues.

The first problem:
As you can see on my test website www.carlobruno.nl , the login/register pop-up box does not work how it should. I want to customize the box myself (make it smaller, customize positions). The module parameters of CB Login are not solving my problem and only let me set the position of the avatar. Changing from horizontal to vertical also did not solve the lay-out problems. Is there a specific file to change the style settings of the login/pop-up box? Or is this a specific template problem? I already investigated the template.css file of my template, but I am still not wiser. To see how the pop-up box looks while logged in as a registered user, please login with: username: Charlie password: testtest.

The second problem:
Furthermore, when clicking register, a pop-up box shows up with some fields needed to register a new user. However, this website only wants registered users who do have a membership plan. A free plan does not exist on this website. In this case, people can create a new account and can access the whole website without paying for a membership. Is it possible to forward users to the menu item 'Membership' when they click on 'Register' next to login? I already thought of just changing the function into a simple hyperlink but cannot find the file with the settings dealing with the register button.

CB has no pop-up login module. This would be specific to your template or if you're using an extension to accomplish it. Please contact the developer of your template or the extension if using one.

You're not using CBs registration workflows. CBSubs and CB it self require its own registration workflows to be used. Please do not use the pop-up as it's using Joomlas registration, which will cause CBSubs to not work and your userbase always being out of sync.
