When browsing users, profiles with no conections display this from the language file default_language.php:

DEFINE('_UE_NOCONNECTIONS','This user has no current connections.');

And that's fine. But when browsing one's own profile, if I don't have any connections, I get the same third-person message. It seems that the language file does have a first-person equivalent:

DEFINE('_UE_NOCONNECTEDWITH','There are currently no users connected with you.');

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Incidentally, there's a grammatical error in this line, too:

DEFINE('_UE_CONNECTIONCATEGORIES_DESC','Enter a list of types to allow your users to further categorize there connections. Press enter after each type.');

"there" should be "their"

No, it's working as intended. Almost every 3rd party plugin generated tab displays this way.

Good find! Have created a bug ticket to address with next release.

But this isn't a 3rd-party plugin. It's CB. I'm talking about the connections between CB members. I just had a look at my profile here on Joomlapolis.com, and it says, "This user has no current connections" rather than "There are currently no users connected with you."

Looks like my ProfileBook tab is the same, giving a third-person ("this user") instead of second-person ("you") message. (Yeah, sorry, I incorrectly said 'first-person' in my original post)

Right, 3rd party and Joomlapolis released; doesn't matter, they're all designed this way. You're welcome to edit them and implement an ID check to see if viewing user matches the displayed user then display something else.
