Problems with registration was created by mikaelswe
Hi,
I have a problem on my site.

When i click to register all fields are gone so it is impossible to register.

Does anyone have had a similar problem and solved it?

In that case please let me know how.

If anyone can have an idea of what is wrong i would be glad to know.

I am using CB 1.5.23 in CB tools management there is nothing wrong when i check.

CB configuration manager in the registration allow user registartion is set to yes and in global configuration user settings allow userregistration is set to now i have change this to yes and still one is not able to register.

If more information is needed tell me.

The URL is: www.scolarum.com/

Kind regards
Mikael

I assume you mean Joomla 1.5.23.

What CB Version?
What else have you installed?
Please test with Joomla template.

Hi,

yes thats the joomla.

CB version is 1.4

Installed is Group Jive, Dmack recommedn friends, Discussion recentX, flexi contact, Google book search, goole wikipedia, scheduler and Udde Im, google translate and mod poll.

I have tried just tried Joomla_purity and nothing happens.

Everything inside works but not registration front end.

Hi,

I think i have solved my problem, i have had this problem for many weeks looking for an explanation all over the net.

I had set the CB core to registered, i changed it to public and now the registration seems to work.

Thank you for a quick answere when i posted my question.

Kind regards
Mikael

Yes, you should really keep all CB Tabs to public unless you are absolutely sure of what you are doing.

Of course registration will not work, if one of its elements is set to registered users only!

Granted, I think a better warning message should somehow be possible.
