I am trying to update joomla to 1.6.5 or 1.6.6 and I get following error:
PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function getCfg() on a non-object in ..../administrator/components/com_comprofiler/plugin.foundation.php on line 3228
I have looked at some other forum posts and it is something to do with installation of CB. First I want to know if there is a solution to this.
Also it would be good if you could have a link to donwload the latest version of CB 1.4 (I can not install CB 1.7 as some of CB related extensions are not compatible). Does CB 1.4 modified or updated by time or it would be the same version that I have on my computer and installed before?
You need to install CB 1.7. CB 1.4 has known bugs regarding J1.6/J1.7. Please upgrade. If you've plugins that won't function on CB 1.4 you'll need to contact their authors for updates. The error you're seeing seams to think the install is on J1.0 and is calling the wrong code. CB 1.4 does not automatically update or anything of the sort. The update to CB 1.4 is CB 1.7.
