Hello,

I need to make a text area field (with editor) searchable and shown in a list.

I have two option for Multi-Criteria Searches to make this field searchable in a list:

1- To choose All searchable fields in the Searchable fields option when defining the list. I can not do this as I have nearly 20 searchable fields and different combinations needs to be searchable in different lists (not all searchable lists in all lists).

2- The second option is to choose, Searchable fields, displayed ones only.
This is fine but I have a bit problem. Some of these searchable fields are text area and if I want to display these fields I get something like below:

Basically the field occupies most of the width of the list. I'd like to know if there could be a solution to this?

Seams to be working as expected.

Edit the field in field management and give it a "Max Length:" so they can't spam a large some of content. You could also use CSS to limit the width of the DIV the editor fields content is displayed in. Example of this as follows.
Code:
.cbUsersList .cbUserListFC_FIELDNAME { display: block; max-height: 50px; max-width: 300px; overflow: hidden; }

Just replace FIELDNAME with the actual name of your field (e.g. cb_myfield).
