Stop Gallery edit in Frontpage

Than the whole gallery is not visible!

Ah sorry, I totally misunderstood.

I thought you just wanted to control who gets a gallery and who doesn't.

Guess you are trying to just create read-only elements?
You can do this on a limited basis just creating readonly image fields.

A feature to give people a gallery but not edit privileges currently does not exist, but it sounds like a cool addition, so will take a note for a future release.

Would be interested to know exactly what you are trying to accomplish with this feature?
