[SOLVED] Moderator Email not working was created by bradley568
I'm sure this is a simple mistake on my side, but I can't get any moderator emails sent to my account? I have only 1 authorized user in my site and have set it as a super admin. I have switched on the moderator emails but nothing is being sent to me when I try to register my test users.

What are the obvious things I have missed?

You have 1 user and that user is a moderator? CB won't send emails to your self. You need to ensure moderator emails are enabled in CB > Configuration > Moderation then ensure your user in CB > User Management is set to receive emails. Once done test by registering a new user and see if you received a new user email.

That's exactly what I have done. I have one user who is a moderator and he is set to receive moderator emails. I then try to register a new user with a test email address that I have created but I get no emails to inform me of the new user.

Please test that CB > User Management > Mass Mailer will send emails to see if emails are working at all. Please also confirm if your registration test results in the user receiving a welcome/pending email or not.

It has failed. I was just investigating my settings (which work fine in my email client) and have looked on the Joomla forums. It appears that 1and1 and Joomla are not working well together:

When I tried to mass mail it just reported "Error sending email". Is there anywhere I can review the logs?

I have made a small change to my settings and have the Mass Mail now working.

I have just tested the Resend Confirmation and it now works too.

Looks like it was just the smtp configuration that was wrong. Sorry to waste your time but for anyone else that has this problem, make sure your email works :)
