Auto Login Upon Registration within CB Subs

I've got a personal development site running CB Subs with +20 subscription types.

I would like for my users to automatically login to their accounts upon registration. I've read up on this accross various forums and it looks like it's done by editing the comprofiler.php. I'm wondering if it is possible for automatic registration within CB Subs.

Process I'm trying to accomplish
1. Users fill in the profile fields and push the registration button.
2. Users are automatically logged into their accounts and taken to the URL for first login visit: that I defined in CB Subs admin.

It's very important that after registration users are taken directly to the URL for first login page, not a generic my account page.

I'm running Joomla 1.5.23, CB 1.7 & CB Subs 1.2.2
