Content Author not displaying Author's Content

I've added the CB Author Content plugin and added it as a tab. The author's Content tab shows no articles, however there are many articles for each author.
What needs to be done to connect the content to the author's tab?

What is CB Author Content plugin? If you're wanting to display a users articles on profile I recommend incubator project CB Articles. CB also comes with Content Author as found in CB > Plugin Management, but for it to be compatible with J1.6/J1.7 you need CB 1.7.1.

Upgraded to 1.7.1 and the Articles do appear using the Content Author plugin.

However... the author profile is no longer visible when user clicks the author name, and gets the message they need to Log In to View. I do not find where to control access to view profiles. In the CB Tab Manager, all items are shown as Access = Everybody.

Is there somewhere else that access is controlled?

Profile access can be configured from CB > Configuration > User Profile.
