Yes, userlists display and searching is planned to be completely overhauled for CB 2.x. It'll likely provide radius, range, etc.. search capabilities. Can't say for sure as we're still in discussion/design phase regarding this. No such plans for a CB 1.x release that I am aware of, sorry.
