[SOLVED] password stored in plain text during Register

I have a major issue with my site www.p-m-a.at . Since some days the password will be stored in the jos_users table in plain text format. So no login will be possible.
But this happens only during registration. If a user will ask for a new password the new password will be saved encrypted and login will be possible.

How can I fix this issue? How to debug?
I am not aware that I have changed anything in the last days.
The site is running for more than 2 years!

Hi Nick, thanks for the fix. The password will be stored encrypted. Registration is working again.
