Updating Multiple Articles was created by thadeej
Hi community!

I am managing a website that has nearly 3,000 articles and more than 500 Categories.

I was wondering if there was a way to auto-populate articles with the same information into multiple categories.

Let's say I have an "Info" article that is the exact same for 60 different Categories. Instead of creating 60 individual articles, could I have the 60 different Categories all point to the one article?

Thanks in advance!

Not that I am aware, but you could create 60 individual articles and have their content pulled from 1 article that way if you make updates it will affect all 60 locations. You'd do this by rendering an article within an article. There's a few extensions that can do this; example as follows.

extensions.joomla.org/extensions/news-display/articles-display/content-embed/10799

I recommend further searching JED as there's quite a few of same/similar solutions.
