Every time I go to the Category configuration in GJ 2.4 it re-sets the setting Create Groups to Disable. If I don't notice and accidently save, it prevents uses from creating groups.
Yeah, that's a bug. It's fixed for next release (GJ 2.5), which is scheduled to go RC early next week (RC is available to professional and developer subscribers).
