Incubator projects are considered experimental, come with no guarantee, and have zero documentation (impossible to document as they're always changing). To enable step by step navigate to CB > Plugin Management > CB Conditionals > Config. To conditionally display a tab or a field simply edit either/or within Tab Management or Field Management and the conditions are self explanatory.
CB Conditional works on any CMS CB works on. Whether that's J1.5, J1.6, J1.7, or J2.5; it doesn't matter. As long as CB functions on it so will CB Conditional.
