[SOLVED] Strange Chars In Backend Embracing Titles was created by jazzvox
Characters that clasp around CB(-made) titles/labels all over the place,
eg. ===\UserName/--- ===\CB User Manager/--- ===>Advanced Search<===

I've just installed CB 1.8 RC (+ GJ..) on a new Joomla 2.5.1 testsite.

Looks like you've language string debugging enabled. Please see CB > Configuration > Integrations.
