Integrating MailChimp with CB

Hi folks,

I can't seem to work out how to integrate MailChimp with CB users. I'd like CB users to have a checkbox on the registration page, defaulted to "on," to subscribe to the mailer, which I manage through MailChimp.

CB users will also need that checkbox in their preferences to change settings.

Is this even possible?

It says MailChimp integrates with CB on their Joomla.org page. How far does this integration go? Just registering the user in MailChimp? At any rate if subscriptions to mailings are just a database row you can use CB Auto Actions and a Query action to insert them into MailChimps database. It supports conditions so you could do "[cb_checkbox] Equal To 1" to ensure they selected to be subscribed.
