Conditional doesn't work during search?

Conditional doesn't work during search? was created by davidjoomla11
Hi, conditional fields work well during profile edit. But it doesn't work in search criteria. Is it supposed to? If it is not, shouldn't it be a big wishlist? The reason why conditional fields are used in registration/edit are usually the same reason why they are needed during search.

Thanks.

Depends on what version you're using. If using latest release you need to edit your fields that have conditions and set "Userlists Search:" to "Enabled" for it to condition search criteria. Each display aspect is Enable/Disable capable so you can determine exactly where a condition should function.

Just installed the latest release and yes, the 4th "For" appeared. Also pleasantly surprise to see 5 tabs now! Will be very very useful. THANKS, I love it!

One observation that may be a minor bug. The default backend "Userlists Search" is Disabled upon installation. But at the frontend, it is actually enabled. One will have to enable and disable again at the backend before the frontend can be disabled. Hope this helps. Cheers.

Good catch, will take a look; probably a mess up in the frontend checking of the parameter where a default is set if nothing is selected.
