Contacting Groups

A potential nonprofit client wants to have volunteers categorized by what they are willing to volunteer for ie setting up functions, cleanup, etc. I'm hoping that there is a way to have a list at registration where the individual can select areas they are interested in helping with. Then hopefully the administration can group email/contact all individuals that have 'signed up' for a specific task.

Does CB have that functionality or is there an additional extension that works with CB to accomplish this?

You should be able to use the Mass Mailer to do as you're wanting from CB > User Management. Simply search the userlist on your field to filter the list then use the Mass Mailer to email the results of your search.

I've created many groups and lists and I wish users can send an email to all membres of a/their list.

I've searched a plugin to do that but with no success...
