Problem with CB privacy was created by basidee

I have CB privacy 1.3 installed and enabled in CB1.7.1 and J! 1.7.3. All settings are set to 'propose', but I do not see the privacy options beside the fields the way they show in the sample image. Are they not supposed to show beside each field in user update profile view?

What could I be doing wrong?

You need to edit the tabs/fields and set them to allow users defined privacy controls. Setting the various options in CB > Plugin Management > CB Privacy to propose simply allows a user to select that privacy option.
