Is it possible to auto login upon registration?

Hi guys,

we are using Joomla + CB + virtuemart on an internal company server to help streamline internal sales operations

Because of this application, we don not really need that heavy security on the system.

Would it be possible to automatically log a user in once they have submitted registration, as opposed to making them login?

Configuration is currently set to:

Require Admin Approval - no
Require Email Confirmation - no

Joomla 1.7.3
CB - 1.7.1

Also once they log in the message displayed "you are already logged in"

I know that I can change that in the language files but I should point out that is kinda counter intuitive

where would i look to disable the 'login' functionality on the registration page?

I already have the mod_cblogin published on the top of the template on every page
so there exits redundancy on my site

See CB > Configuration > Registration and from there you can disable login display on registration page. This is default off so it must've been turned on at some point.
