[SOLVED] error after emptying cache

This morning it happened something very very strange!

After emptying the cache progressive, I'm login on frontpage whith a member account (eg. Marc), I am directed to the home page, this is normal, but the cblogin shows me another member (eg. Marie). And Mary is truly connected to another pc (not the same IP).
The avatar link does not direct Mary to their profile (fortunately) and shows me an error page.
Now it works, there is no error.
Do you know why? thank you

I'm confused, you stated an issue and now stated it works fine and there's no error. What's happening exactly? I do not recommend using site side caching unless it's directly and properly coded into the extension. Caching basically takes a snapshot of the page, slaps a datetime on it, then checks it after the expiration time to replace it with a new snapshot.

In an environment with dynamic content (such as CB or any constant-changing site) this is a horrible idea as you'll -always- have out of date data. Site side caching is best used for Blog sites or sites that are primarily static. If you absolutely need the performance gain (minimal) you should contact your host for server side caching and compression.

Thank you, I disabled the cache joomla, I'll check with my host how activated the server cache.
The problem I had was no longer expressed, everything seems ok.
