i want to do an export of our users/members and all cb fields and import this file into our new site with cb. how to do this? most cb fields are the same on both sites. maybe any one can tell me which tables i have to import/export? can i use the J2XML importer to import our joomla users first?

You can import/export your users using CB Juice, but don't believe it import/exports fields. For fields you should be able to just copy all of your _comprofiler database tables, empty _comprofiler, then import all your users.

hello, i worked with dbreplacer (nonumber extension). So i changed a few data in database. For example: i use a field cb_membership. This is set to "GRAPAS" for a few users. When this is set to "GRAPAS", there is a rule that determines these users are assigned to the usergroup "member GRAPAS".
1/ This works fine when i open the user profile in cb usermanagement, add this manually and save the profile.
2/ with DBReplacer i get the right modifications to the profile. When i open the profile in backend i see "GRAPAS", but the user is only assigned to the right usergroup once the profile is opened and saved.
So is there a tool or something to force a "resaving" of all my user profiles ?

I have this similar need. My scenario is that i have joomla 1.5 with custom fields and i need to move those fields to another cb setup on a joomla 2.5. How do i go about this? Is it also possible to move all CB users on my joomla 1.5 (including their profile information and pictures) to the joomla 2.5 CB?

You can directly copy your _comprofiler_fields and _comprofiler_field_values tables. They are not Joomla restricted. If you need to also move the tabs you'll need to copy over _comprofiler_tabs, but their Access will not be valid anymore and you'll need to fix those. To migrate users the best I can suggest is export your users with CB Juice from your old install then import them to your new install using CB Juice.
