Hi,

Suddenly I got reports back from a site I manage that new registered users cant login with their username / password.

After some investigations (tried switching of joomla cache and checking all configuration settings) I looked into the DB and I see that jos_users contain the plaintext version of the passwords to the affected users.

This happened right after I upgraded the site. I also switched caching and gzip compression at the same time.

Is this something that have been repported before?

Joomla 1.25, CB 1.8, CB Subs 1.2.2

You are most likely using the CBSUbs SQL plugin.
If you have installed it but are not using it, then just remove it.

Otherwise, please upgrade to CBSubs 1.3 RC2.

Hi,

I do use the plugin you mentioned.

I upgraded all my CB Subs components to the 1.3 RC2.

The problem is now solved.

Thanks.
