Hi, my forum and website uses a dedicated SMTP server from elastic email, however all messages sent through a users profile don't seem to be using my global STMP email settings.
For example, whenever a user sends a Connection request, a direct message through their profile, and/or write on another users profile wall, none of the email notifications are using my STMP email server to email them these notification messages.
My Kunena Forum and Ads Manager Classifieds all seem to be using my Joomla Global email settings fine, however everything Community Builder profile isn't. Is there another email setting somewhere that I need to change for Community builder email settings?
CB uses Joomlas settings. It has no fallback. If Joomla is set to SMTP then that's what CB uses. Ensure Joomla mailer is set to SMTP or it won't use your SMTP settings.
