administration admin navigation module and groupji was created by AnjaOlst
I have installed the admin nav(via Joomla, not via plugins, as explained) but I don't see the Groupjive plugin in the CB plugin management area as described on page 8 of the manual of CB Groupjive 2.5 (figure 1 of the manual).

I have Joomla 2.5 installed and the latest Groupjive.

I can't see the Groupjive Administrative panel area

The admin navigation module adds a drop-down menu to the top menu bar or a table based menu to the Joomla control panel. It has nothing to do with what you usee in plugin management. If CB GroupJive isn't in CB > Plugin Management then you don't have GJ installed, please download and install the latest package (2.5.1).
