Hits are stored in the hits column of the _comprofiler table. You could just use phpmyadmin to export only that column.

The _comprofiler database table isn't specific to a Joomla version. You can export and import it all you like as long as the ID and USER_ID columns match the _users ID column then users will maintain their profile data.
Really for import/export you should be using CB Juice though.
