Search date - Can reverse the order?

hi, based on a date field where the year is between 1900 - 2012, when doing a search, the drop down selection will start from 1900, 1901, 1902 etc. How can we make it that it will start from the latest i.e. 2012, 2011, 2010... etc?

This is important because most of the selections will be closer to present year and I don't want users to always have to scroll hundreds of years to reach the recent years. This is especially bad when using the mobile phone where.

You can't, it's hardcoded like that. You'd need to edit cb.core.php and change how the date field works, but your change would affect all date fields. Sorry, I can't help with core edits as they're not supported.
