hello, i want to add a menu item linked to a users list of CB. When choosing "users lists" as menu type. I get following screen... type is "logout action", while link is showing "index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userslist". Is this a bug?
I read this in the readme file: "CB related 'Menu Item Type' displayed in Joomla 2.5/1.7
menu Item creation always shows 'Logout action'.
This is a Joomla bug that has been reported to Joomla team
and can be safely ignored as the link created internally
is the correct one."
But after saving the menu item, i get no option to choose the list id!?

This is normal. It's an issue with J1.6-J2.5 not being backwards compatible with J1.5 menu usage. We couldn't fix this in CB without major changes to CB so it'll wait until CB 2.0. You can ignore that it says "logout action" as whatever you selected will actually be used. However, there are no menu parameters due to this issue.

Correct, it's due to this same bug. You'll need to create External menu links with the URL (beginning with index.php) provided when editing a userlist in userlist management.

Unfortunately Joomla strips Itemids from External links. Even if they point to internal locations.

And there is no possibility to assign an itemid to a userlist? Is there a hack off a php file to do this, while waiting for a new version off CB?

Not with SEF enabled. The alternative is to create a userlist as normally then edit the menu link in database to add the listid parameter to it so it's a normal internal link.
