I have a website whose members are website challenged. These members are speaking professionals and have a difficult time with systems in general. The problem that I have is that the CBSubs renewal process using the Subscriptions tab in My Profile is just too challenging for them to find and execute the renewal. Sounds strange, but you have no idea how many calls I get about the renewal process.
What I am looking to do is to "Level Raise" the Subscription Renewal to the frontpage of the website. I'd like a "Notification" to appear when they login that indicates there membership is expiring and can renew now by clicking the notification. Any thoughts on how I can accomplish this feature?
You can add a Joomla menu link for the CBSubs page (see CBSubs > Settings > Display) and set it as the home page. You can display the CBSubs module on the frontpage or all pages and it informs you of renewals. You can setup auto mailings with CBSubs Mailer to send them an email when close to expiring.
