Dots in Password Field of Login not Showing in IE8 was created by slingshot

I am using the CB login module. On my Mac with Safari, Chrome and FF everything works perfect. Likewise on my PC in Safari and FF. However, in IE8 the password field does not display anything as the user types in their password.

In every other browser I can see little dots as you type password characters - indicating that you are entering something. But in IE8 nothing shows. The curser moves as you type each letter but no dot or star to give the user a clear visual sign that they are entering characters.

Am I missing something?

Inspect the password field with Firebug for Firefox and see if there's any CSS causing the text color to be white. This is often the culprit to not seeing any input.
