Use CB Content Bot or Substitutions inside Banners

Can I use CB Content Bot or Substitutions inside Banners.

Doesnt seem to be working for me if I try:

{cb:[cb:userfield field="cb_field" user="42" /]}

or

[cb:userfield field="cb_field" user="42" /]

I didn't expect the substitution to work, but was hoping the Content Bot would. Or does the Content Bot only work inside articles?

Is there any way I can make it work inside banners?

Joomla restricts content plugins to run in article context only.

I remember there was a solution for J1.5 in the JED . Maybe they are able to convert to J25 ?!

Another option would be to ask NoNumber.nl. The developer creates the well-known Articles/Modules-Anywhere pproducts. NoNumber.nl seems to use their own System-Plugin, that fires their plugins on the whole site output. Maybe the developer is interested to support also other content-plugins... ?!

Nope, wasn't designed for banners and as far as I am aware banners don't process content bots.

The way it works is it scans the entire output buffer using REGEX. I've no interest in doing this.
