How to shorten url profile + Map ?

Actually profile link url look like this:


www.site.com/my-profile-menu-link/userprofile/username

and I would like get only this:

www.site.com/username

It seem only one commercial third party componenent allow to do this in conjunction with some SEF componenent like sh404SEF.

I would like avoid to install 2 component (especially SEF stuff) just for perform this task.

Have you some trick or do you plan to release your own CB plugin for do this ?


Other question:

I would like include a Google Map inside profile based of users address. But except one heavy commercial third party plugin and component nothing is available.

Any release planned for this task ?

Possibly with CB 2.0, but it's typically a bad idea on a Joomla site as it causes all /STRING URLs to try to point to a profile.
