[SOLVED] Session time for users was created by Dhruba RC
Hi,

I need to know how is it possible to extend the session time of logged in users in my site (frontend)? And is it possible to somehow disable the feature such that if somebody does not log out then he/she will remain logged in the site?
Also I am facing an issue where if the session expires in the frontend the user is directed to a page with a login module of Joomla, the core Joomla login module is unpublished from which transpires my other question how is it happening?

I am working on localhost so unfortunately won't be able to provide you with a link to the site, also the latest editions of Joomla & CB are installed in the server.

Thanks in Advance for your assistance in this regard!

See Joomla global configuration.

No, just set the session duration to 9999 or something.

Also I am facing an issue where if the session expires in the frontend the user is directed to a page with a login module of Joomla, the core Joomla login module is unpublished from which transpires my other question how is it happening?

This is normal. Install the CB Core Redirect plugin found in Free downloads section so users will be sent to CBs login page instead.

Thanks Krileon, it works perfectly! I did not know that Joomla config time also affected the frontend users. Thank you for assisting me in finding a solution.
