GJ 1.8/ GJ2.5.1 - Group owners are not receiving Group Join notifications even though the configuration is GJ Configuration > Notifications > Groups: User Join Notify and GJ Configuration > Notifications > Global: Notify By: PMS & Email
We have also run the GJ Tools with the result:

Can't figure out why the owner is not receiving the group join notices.
It's a bug in 2.5.1 with notification permissions, please upgrade to GJ 2.5.2 where it is fixed.

Upgraded CB to 1.8.1 and GJ to 2.5.2. CB tools and GJ tools report no errors. PM system (uddeim) is working and sends the normal email notifications. But we are still getting no Join / Leave Notifications - either by email or PM. I attached snaps of the config settings.
Is there another setting to look at?
More information - in the testing we are doing, our test group sends no notifications when a user Joins or Leaves, but a nested group within the same group, with the same owner, does send notifications. :S
Are there group-specific notifications settings that we are missing?
Notifications are group specific. Meaning if you want a join notification you need to own that group (or be a moderator) then go to Notifications while viewing that group and set your self to receive a notification. Defaults only apply in cases of creating a group or joining a group; they don't automatically apply to everyone on the site.
