Mailer Use Case Guidance was created by nphic
Folks,

I have a configuration in CBSubs mailer I need to configure but I'm not sure how to do it. I was hoping someone could provide me some guidance. I have a membership plan where we send out invoices to members on January 1st. Sometimes it takes months for them to pay. What I want to be able to do is to configure mailer to send them a reminder email with an invoice. I've got the message and invoice taken care of for this use case. But, I'm not sure how I configure the mailer to send the message every month, if they have not paid. Any thoughts on how I can do this configuration?

Thanks,
Joe Rebele

Please see page 478 of your documentation where it explains usage of CBSubs Mailer. You can find your detailed documentation in the CBSubs downloads section.

Kyle,

I'm still struggling with the ability to send monthly mailer notices. I've read the documentation over and over and I cannot figure out how to setup CBSubs so I can send an invoice every month until a subscription is paid. I attached a jpg of how I have the mailer configured.

Can you provide me with any insight on how to get this to work?

Thanks,
Joe

You're checking for an Active state, but you have the condition for after the expiration date. This puts it in a situation where it could never send as 1 of those conditions is always going to fail. Set the state check to "Expired" or "Not Relevant" and it should work ok. You still need to configure CRON to trigger the mailer or manually trigger it monthly.
