I want to setup a regex which accepts 20 characters including whitespace character.
I've been trying /^[.\s]{0,20}$/i
but it doesn't seem to work.Can you suggest another expression?
Also,if I enter \n it strips off n, so I had to use \s.
Dot matches any character, you don't need \s as that's for spaces which dot will match. The below should match up to 20 of any characters.
/^.{0,20}$/i
