Users can't add articles...

How do users add articles (on there article tab)? There's no "add article link".

Articles are added by Joomla menu items.

CB has nothing to do with this.

The CB Articles tab only displays articles created via Joomla methods.

Suggest you consult the Joomla documentation for this one.

So if users are managed by CB, how does a managed user that's logged in, create an article through regular Joomla methods and have the articles associated to him (e.g. displayed in the "my articles tab")?

Once again, this is a Joomla issue.

Even if users are still managed by CB, the users are Joomla users also and the articles adding is a Joomla feature.

Please take some time and search and read the Joomla documentation.
