Services that allow a user to adjust the parameters of an uploaded image inside of CB? Or are you suggesting photoshop, paint, GIMP, etc?

I thought that since CB automatically can resize images, that maybe it wasn't too far of a stretch to assume there might be a feature available to rotate, crop, brighten, etc...

No such cropping function currently in CB - there is one planned for CB 2.0 (later this year hopefully).
