[SOLVED] facebook inviter - incorrect url was created by norfolkandway
Hi
Please see attachment for error display
Facebook inviter works but the url displayed in the pop up is incorrect
I think that it may be a setting on facebook and have checked all my facebook account settings to change it but cannot see where to

url shows as - www.defactojobs.com
should be www.cscsregister.com

URL for inviter = www.cscsregister.com

Could you please let me know where the inviter grabs the url from so that I can then look there to change it

It uses $live_site if you didn't specify a custom link for it. You can specify a custom link within CB Connect > Config > Facebook > Invite then adjust the "link" parameter as necessary.

Many thanks, I was driving myself mad looking for a setting on FB and in the CB inviter!! DOH

Now you point me there it is obvious - Input URL to send with message. This should be your homepage or an introduction page of some sort. Note if no link is supplied then live_site will be used.

Must spend more time learning CB insisde out.

Also pointed out to me that I did not have $live_site set - Now done

Works great now
