Allow avater upload for a group only

I'm on Joomla! 2.5.6
CB 1.8.1
CbSubs 2.0.2

I want to know if it is possible to allow the avatar upload only for one group, please.

Not sure what you mean exactly.

Do you mean you want to only allow some Joomla ACL group to be able to update their avatar?

Almost !!

In my website, I have some avatar (pictures of people faces) for the users. But I want to allow my professionnal users only to upload their logo as avatar. Not the particular users.

Is it possible?

If I understand correctly you want to allow anyone to select an image from the Gallery, but only professional users to be able to upload. I don't believe you can do this as gallery selection and upload is all done from the same field. It's possible to limit only paying users to select a profile image, but it also protects gallery usage. You'd have to protect the image upload page (CBSubs Content using By URL Part) as well as protect the profile image field (CBSubs Fields Tabs Protection).

the upload image area and phe profile image choice are in the same page. Am I wrong?

The image upload page is basically the same as using the field. Both usages allow for upload and gallery selection. Yes, it's possible to protect the upload (see my previous reply as to how), but by protecting image upload you're also going to end up protecting gallery selection; basically no one could change their profile image unless they are a paying user.
